The Opportunity

- The Graduate Program is targeted at accelerating your development preparing you to take part in some of the largest developments in the National Electricity Market’s history.
- As a TransGrid Graduate, you will assist in undertaking modelling, analysis, development, design and provision of recommendations for high voltage transmission system developments to ensure TransGrid’s strategies and objectives are met. This includes authoring or reviewing robust technical reports, designs, developing projects and network models, documenting sound forecasts and streamlining efficient project delivery and planning processes.
- You will undertake rotations in key business areas with access to internal and external development opportunities to enhance professional knowledge and skills. These rotations will help you create an invaluable network that helps you learn, grow, and develop.

- Join our specialised Network Planning and Operations and/or Delivery business unit, in which you’ll be embedded in one department. With this, you will build a deep understanding, kick starting your career in your chosen field.
- Engage in asset analytics, operations analysis, network operations, and customer planning
- Engage in defining project scopes, conceptual designs and developing feasible projects to meet network and customer needs
- On the job training and supportive transition into the role

To be considered for the graduate program you will be:
- Tertiary qualified in Engineering
- Maintain minimum credit average
- Motivated and willing to learn
- Able to think laterally and to provide input to innovative solutions to complex problems
- Able to work well with others
- High attention to detail
- A clear communicator
- Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Environmentally and socially responsible
- Appreciative and sensitive to difference and diversity

- An Australian permanent resident or an Australian or New Zealand citizen
- A recent University Graduate within the last 3 years (2019, 2020 or 2021)
Note: These positions are 2 year fixed term roles with a potential to apply or be considered for Full-Time employment after 3rd rotation
