Please comment on your company's office space, location and facilities. And while we're at it, please tell us a little about the dress code.
Actual campus itself is well maintained and beautiful, however the location will always been a drawback.

Offices in Sydney are amazing, honestly a beautiful place to work with lots of outside space. Dress code dependent on teams - TV&C is very casual (jeans and sneakers ok) whereas sales and retail are more business casual.

Not bad, could have better chairs and monitors. Dress code is business casual

Office space is comfortable with nice views out of the window onto the campus and surrounding apartment blocks in Macquarie Park. Lots of space given to each person for work which is good (there are no cubicles). Can easily move around and talk to my colleagues and manager when I need help on something. The campus itself is very nice. There is a bit of a lake in the middle with heaps of baby ducks. Lots of spaces to sit and eat at lunchtime. Lots of greenery. Tennis and basketball courts are available. Dress code is very casual in networks with most people just wearing a t-shirt and long pants although some of the more senior managers dress more formally. I have heard the dress code varies a lot between teams though.

My biggest gripe with work if the offices. The office is out of the city and in the suburbs, fairly inconvenient for networking and inter-business dealings. Furthermore, the desk top IT facilities can be lacking, most monitors are VGA cable whereas work provides usb-C / HDMI laptops, so you need docking stations to plug in most often.

office is spacious with many facilities like the gym and cafes. dress code is smart casual.

The Sydney office although not in the city, It provides as easy escape from work. Being about go outside sit at a table, 5 mins from leaving my desk makes a huge difference to my mental health and takes out the anxiety of walking around the city not knowing where to have lunch and just ending up eating at your desk. Its great to be able to get some sunshine so easily, real mood booster.

Office space is good, however, there are a lot of monitors that could use updating and meeting rooms that you cannot use the screen for. The recently upgraded floors are beautiful and I cannot wait to see the same happen in the more outdated spaces in the future. The dress code is very ideal. I am able to dress more comfortably on days that I do not have many meetings but can dress up on other days. The dress code is quite relaxed, and I love that it is acceptable to wear sneakers instead of uncomfortable dress shoes.

Exceptional campus style office. Lots of Green areas and vendors. Fairly laid back dress code. Very easy to get to and complimentary busses run from epping and Wynyard station directly to front door.

Great campus honestly, multiple places that are only accessible to Optus employees on site with plenty of areas to eat in. No need to walk too far to get affordable food. Otherwise we can catch a free bus from Campus to Macquarie Centre to grab more variety of food or even do a bit of grocery shopping. Office-wise, most employees have their own desk instead of hot desking which is good as you can store many things under your desk and drawers. Dress code isn't too strict, business wear is the recommended as long as its not PJs!

Everything about the office space and facilities is incredible there is a gym, plenty of cafe's and restaurants, mailroom, sleep pods, quiet rooms the list goes on. However needing to pay to park on the premise at $14 a day is quite steep.

Pretty standard office building, some food options below. Some buildings/floors are nicer than other floors

The general Optus campus has a nice feel and vibe to it as well with ducklings during spring, a green atmosphere and lots of food and cafe options right within the campus as well. Located in Macquarie Park it might be convenient for some people who get the metro line but for many others it won't be. There are many facilities here from a gym, to tennis court, to pool tables, to a convenience store, to cafes and restaurants - it is a nice place to work. Dress code wise, it depends on your team and business unit however Optus is generally a lot more casual than many other firms - jeans and a business shirt is fine and in some cases even t-shirts!

I believe we have the best office space in the country. We have an array of facilities, as the campus is set out like a university campus. We have eateries, dry cleaning, a convenience store, as well as a gym all on-site. Our dress code is not set but it does tend to differ between the different business units. Our Enterprise & Business division tend to dress in suits as most roles are client facing. Outside of this, we mostly dress smart casual, while the tech spaces dress more casual with t-shirts and jeans.

It's very open and green, quite nice to have a coffee and lunch and outside meetings. The office space varies, some buildings and floors are very open, nice, and have great meeting facilities and devices such as monitors etc. Some other floors and teams seem to be behind on newer technologies which creates inefficiencies - old/not working monitors, meeting rooms that lack ability to have in-person and online attendees etc. Dress code is very relaxed in my area, some people wear casual wear.

The offices at Belrose are fairly dated and could really use a bit of an update with regards to design and aesthetic. The commute to Belrose is also extremely long for me, with it taking around 2 hours of my time to get to work by public transport. Also the facilities are severely lacking in comparison to OCS, with the nearest food and coffee places requiring a car to get to within a reasonable time. At OCS, the workstations on the lower floors are definitely inferior to the workstations on the upper floors, with regards to monitors and desks. The dress code throughout Optus is consistent with a professional workplace, with employees allowed to wear whatever they want, with the caveat that it is within reason.

The space is excellent, everything you could ever need is on site and very easy to access. There are also some spaces for recreation which is great for bonding with the team. The dress code isn't strict but everyone still dresses appropriately.

Many teams have issues with the hot desking model that some departments have set up. It makes it hard to come into the office and be productive, especially when tech is constantly not working, many desks get left empty for months on end because it is nobody's responsibility to get tech fixed. It would be much better if employees were given permanent desks so they are allowed to have their own space setup in the office
