Role: 

As our Business Development Representative will have a strong focus on working with our senior sales professionals to qualify prospects and build a strong sales pipeline. In this role you will sell Meltwater's global leading solution. 

You will be working with some of the most exciting companies in Australia!

What You'll Do:

• Generate new sales 
• Qualify leads and reach out to outbound prospects 
• Book demos and meetings for interested clients
• Become a product expert
• Specialize in knowledge in the Social Media, Communications & Digital Marketing industry
• Contribute to our Account Executive division’s sales performance

Who You Are:

• Currently based in or willing to relocate to Melbourne
• Hold full, unrestricted working rights in Australia (a working holiday visa is not accepted)
• Attained Bachelor’s degree (in any specialization)
• Entry-level / have up to 1 - 2 years of work experience
• High level of drive & stamina to succeed in sales
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, and organized with the ability to work under tight deadlines and in a high-pressure environment
• Interest in tech & SaaS/media intelligence, and a regular consumer of the news/media
