About the Role

Working with Honeywell Process Solutions you will be part of a team delivering and executing projects that will develop your engineering skills.  Supporting our clients across the mining, oil and gas and new energy sectors to operate safe, reliable, efficient, and sustainable engineering solutions through leading technology and digitalisation.

You will be supported to succeed with participation in our Graduate Program and on-the-job support and learning.  You will be learning a wide variety of skills and deepen your knowledge in all aspects of industrial control including Process Control, Safety, OT and Electrical systems. Work with our teams through all project phases from design, configuration, testing and site commissioning.  In building cross-discipline experience, you will increase knowledge through working with other experienced engineers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of work assignments, typically using Honeywell Experion controllers/RTU/PLCs and supervisory systems, and/or third-party PLCs/systems, to appropriate standards and quality systems
  • Implementation of virtualised systems and network configuration
  • Execution of testing and preparation of documentation to appropriate standards and quality systems
  • Participation in HSE processes, meet HSE metrics and follow all HSE procedures.
  • Reporting on the process and technical problems and/or changes to the project lead engineer or supervising engineer
  • Contribute to the development of project plans, schedules, and design/configuration documentation.

Key Experiences & capabilities:

  • Relevant undergraduate Degree – Engineering (major in Electrical; Instrument & Control; Mechatronics) Completed within 2 years preceding the start date for the Graduate Program Feb 2024
  • Windows-based software knowledge
  • Higher-level software language experience is valued.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Customer focus and ability to foster strong customer relationships.
  • Analysis and problem-solving skills
