This area of domain expertise extends from Smart Buildings, Critical Infrastructure (Airports, Security Installations, Correctional Facilities) to Smart Cities that employ highly technical solutions involving the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Analytics in attempts to improve the quality of life for the people whilst maintaining robust, interrupt free and sustainable operating infrastructure.

About the Role

As a Graduate Data Analyst in Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS), you will be responsible for developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies to provide relevant insights to help the business improve decision making, address key challenges and concerns and identify new ways to drive growth. Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources, maintaining databases, and generating reports, you will be working closely with cross-functional and cross organisation teams to understand business requirements, conduct strategic assessments, develop and track analytics and communicate relevant insights to senior leadership and key decision makers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and manages information to support corporate decision making·
  • Provides actionable insights and modeling to improve strategy and performance.
  • Develops dashboards, executive summaries, and weekly/monthly reports to measure against KPIs and market dynamics.
  • Presents findings from analysis to external and internal clients/stakeholders.
  • Prepares, organizes, and displays data/results to convey targeted messages for each audience.
  • Performs complex analyses; gather, review, and test data across multiple reporting systems and apply many measures to provide solutions to critical business issues and decisions.

  • Advanced to expert level knowledge of data sources, tools, applications and business drivers 

Key Experience & Capabilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or Statistics completed in the 2 years preceding the start date for the Graduate Role, Feb 2023
  • Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations
  • Strong SQL or Excel skills with the ability to learn other analytic tools
  • Experience with frameworks, statistics, and algorithm design.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional drive, intellectual curiosity, and ownership
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Sound decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Customer focused
