Who are we looking for:

We are looking for students currently studying a Bachelor qualification in the following disciplines:

  • Civil Engineering – General
  • Civil Engineering – Structural
  • Civil Engineering – Project/Construction
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Science – Environmental

We are currently offering internships in Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, Gladstone and Rockhampton.

To be successful in this role you will:

Be passionate about your field, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a high attention to detail, enjoy building networks and working with others and have a willingness to learn and experience new opportunities in a multidisciplinary environment.

What we offer:

Twice a year GHD in North Queensland offer undergraduate placements for 4 weeks across a number of disciplines. With our end of year program commencing Monday 23rd November 2020 to Friday 18th December 2020.

We are passionate about the development of our students with ongoing opportunities for:

  • Networking, training, mentoring, and exposure to different business areas and career paths.
  • Entry-level professionals are actively involved in a variety of challenging projects that will develop their technical and professional skills.

The recruitment process:

We want you to have a positive experience, and at GHD we do this by utilising technology to keep the process timely and easy to complete. If your application passes the initial shortlisting stage, then you will invited to complete this with a set deadline. We will give you the instructions at the time, but as a guide, you will have approximately 72 hours to complete these from when the invite is sent.
