Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking recent graduates, early career professionals, and advanced career professionals with limited technical experience interested in jump-starting a career as an Associate Solution Architect and participating in the AWS Tech U program to advance their technical and professional skills. In this role, you will acquire highly sought-after skills and experiences to support you in accelerating your career at AWS. In your first 12 months, you will have the opportunity to learn, train, and grow into an Associate Solution Architect. As an Associate Solutions Architect Graduate, you will receive deep-dive training in modern infrastructure design and management. About AWS Tech U

AWS Tech U is an accelerated career development program for recent graduates and early career professionals entering technical roles to advance their skills and help customers design flexible and resilient cloud-based solutions. The 12-month onboarding residency program includes a six-month academic curriculum followed by six months of on-the-job-training in the field. While in AWS Tech U, you will learn key technical and professional skills from top AWS subject matter experts that you can then use across your career working with AWS's customers.

You may be required to relocate to one of the AWS Tech U training sites to complete the academic portion of the program and to perform the on-the-job training. AWS will provide relocation assistance if needed for both in-person academic and on-the-job training.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related science/technical fields, equivalent training, certifications, and/or experience
• Experience with one of the following programming languages: , Python, Ruby, Node.js, C#, or C++
• Experience with two or more of the following Networking fundamentals, Security, Storage or Databases (Relational and/or NoSQL), Operating Systems (Unix, Linux, and/or Windows)
• Full working rights for/ Australian or New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident

Preferred Qualifications

• Good communication skills and ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions to both large and small audiences
• Experience implementing a cloud-based technology solution in a school project or while working for a company
• Experience with one or more of the following domains: systems administration (Linux/Window), network administration (DNS, IPsec, BGP, VPN, Load Balancing), or programming (Node.JS, Ruby, C#, Python, or PHP)
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
